Shakira Abdul-Ali
is the Principal Consultant for Alchemy Consulting, LLC, which
is a consulting firm focused on supporting organizations and
individuals in generating wealth and value by maximizing performance – personal,
professional and institutional. Ms. Ali employs consulting,
training and coaching strategies that empower her clients to
tap into their highest potential for growth and development.
Most of Alchemy’s clients operate in the not-for-profit
and include Essex County, N.J.; Newark, NJ Housing
Authority; Right Management Consultants; Bucks County Housing
Group (PA); the NYC Head Start Sponsoring Board
Council; Abyssinian Development
Corporation;
Cornell University ILR Management Development Program and
NJ Transit Corporation.
Ms. Ali has designed and/or delivered HR certificate
training programs, as well as training and consulting for NJ
Department of Human Service employees. As a business partner,
Ms. Ali has contributed to organizational value through team
building, managing change, organizational learning and building
high-performance work systems. Ms. Ali holds a Bachelor’s
degree in Economics and Urban Studies from Wellesley College
and a Master of Science in Organization Development from American
University. She has received a Leadership Development certificate
from the National Coalition Building Institute.
